Social media is social interaction using software which humans communicate with. When the technologies are in place, social media is very useful, accessible, good to use. This year 2012, social media became one of the most powerful sources for news updates through platforms such as Twitter, Facebook and Google+.
Social Media has had a negative impact on my learning, this is because I am constantly on websites such as Facebook and I then find it hard to complete my homework on time. Even besides this Social media can be a great tool to use for research and analysis.
There are many sites which are used for social media, the main three which are used in today's society are: Facebook, Twitter and Google+.
